Meaghan represents both individuals and businesses in a wide variety of disputes, focusing on personal injury, premises liability, professional liability, and employment litigation. She also represents insurers in coverage matters.

Meaghan strives to listen to the goals of her clients and provide meaningful, custom-tailored representation and results. She offers creative and pragmatic solutions to complex problems, and relies upon strong working relationships and effective communication to minimize costs and protracted litigation.

Meaghan is also a zealous advocate who passionately defends the interests of her clients through all phases of litigation in both state and federal court. She has briefed and argued cases before the Minnesota Court of Appeals, Minnesota Supreme Court, and United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. With a passion for legal writing and oral advocacy, Meaghan relishes motion practice and appellate work, and has demonstrated success in securing pretrial dismissals for her clients.

Meaghan was named a Minnesota Rising Star from 2014 to 2019, and, a Minnesota Super Lawyer as of 2020.

  • Achieved defense verdict in trial in favor of dog training facility in personal injury/premises liability matter.
  • Regularly defend motor vehicle liability and personal injury matters.
  • Represents mental health professionals and practitioners in Board hearings, investigations and appeals; obtained dismissal of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Board appeal via successful Motion for Reconsideration.
  • Represented unlicensed mental health practitioner in breach of confidentiality/health records act claim involving the duty to warn before the Minnesota Supreme Court.
  • Represented food product manufacturer in product liability appeal in United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit.
  • Received a $90,000 RCV/$25,000 ACV appraisal award for her insurance carrier client on a $1.3 million first-party property damage claim asserted by a condominium association.
