Brian joined Cousineau, Van Bergen, McNee, & Malone, P.A. in late 2017. Prior to joining the firm, Brian worked as a law clerk to the Honorable Jamie L. Cork in Dakota County District Court in Hastings, Minnesota. While working as a clerk, Brian gained valuable experience observing and experiencing trials, and understanding the behind-the-scenes decision making process used by the Courts to make their rulings.
Brian graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, cum laude, in 2016, where he served on the Mitchell Hamline Law Review, participated in mock trial competitions, was a member of the business law society, and played for the Fighting Eel Pouts hockey team. While in law school, Brian worked as a law clerk in the Dakota County Attorney’s Office and for a private civil litigation firm.
Brian earned his B.A. in History and Political Science, cum laude, from Hamline University in 2016. In his free time, Brian enjoys experiencing new restaurants with his wife, spending time at the dog park with his puppy, and playing hockey.
